Monday Highlights : Collaborations 2012

In today's post, we decided to point out some of 2012's collaborations.

The Ukrainian brand, Syndicate, has collaborated with many talented artists these past few years, and is collaborating this month with Masha Reva.  Botanical Layers is this collection's name. It represents the rapid pace of today's contemporary life, gadgets and social networks explored as a metaphorical botanical garden of Photoshop and loading bars. The original prints will be available on limited edition sweat shirts in November 2012. For more information, check Masha Reva's site.

Earlier this year, we witnessed successful partnerships like Marni for H&M, Jean Paul Gautier for La Perla, Mary Katrantzou for both Topshop and Longchamp, Dots Infinity collection by Louis Vuitton & Yayoi Kusama... Out of these collaborations have risen many young and talented designers.

These are some of the latest collaborations,

As mentioned in "Middle Matter : Scarves" post , Martin Margiela is in collaboration with H&M & launches their collection on the 15th of November in selected stores worldwide.

Jordan Askill London based jewellery designer for Topshop. Fiercely feminine, his collection embodies hearts, clouds motifs and panther pendants. Shop it here.

Ellie Goulding and Azelia Banks for ASOS. You can check on ASOS their #bestnightever picks and styles updated regularly.

Elin Kling for Marciano :

Elin Kling, a very successful swedish blogger, is in collaboration with Marciano. Her blog's success drove her to become the director of her own fashion magazine, the founder and partner of Fashion Networks and today a designer!

“I HOPE THE PIECES IN MY COLLECTION
WILL MAKE A WOMAN FEEL CONFIDENT
BECAUSE THEY ARE FLIRTY, SIMPLE,
WEARABLE AND EASY TO STYLE.”
- ELIN KLING

COLLECTION IN-STORE AND ONLINE MARCH 2013

In January 2012, Diesel founder Renzo Rosso and EDUN founders travelled to Uganda and Mali, where they shared their love of continent and toured each other's programs : Diesel's project in Dioro and EDUN's CCI (initiative) in Uganda. The experience was the catalyst for them to join forces to further apparel trade and development in Africa with a co-branded, co-designed denim collection.
