Not everyone knows there is a difference between thrift shopping & vintage shopping. Although they're similar, I feel they're targeted to different cravings.
Thrift shopping can take hours & you never really know what you'll find, which is both a good and a bad thing, depending your perspective.
Vintage shopping is already a bit more sorted out & specific, it has already been picked out, I would say, sometimes it's halfway through an actual brand-shop.
I was introduced to Citizen Vintage a little while ago, but wasn't too familiar with it. Recently we came to collaborate and I was excited to learn more about what they do. What's so special about them is that, above the fact that they pick out some of the greatest pieces, they also give clothes a second life, restoring them or adapting them to fit today's trends. In a way, they're modernizing the concept of "vintage" and I feel they have a defined identity that many don't.
I came up with a bunch of outfits that will roll on the blog in the following weeks. Here is the first one!
The harmony of the colors of this blouse from Citizen Vintage caught my attention, it reminded me of something my mom worn when I was younger. Paired with one of their Handmade recycled Backpacks!
